his mower is a durable push reel mower, built for rough use. It has a strong, 1 inch thick tubular frame (compared to the 0.75 inch tubes used in the lower range mowers by American Lawn Mower) and powder coated handle. This model also has strong, cast iron wheels. The extra durability comes at a slight cost in weight.
The 16 inch cutting area is much smaller than other mowers – this means that the mower can be easier to push, but can also take about 40% longer to cut the same yard as a 20 inch mower.
